Kathleen grew up in All Souls Church. Her parents were married at the Church and she was baptized there. She attended Sunday School and youth groups at All Souls and was a member of the junior and senior choirs. Kathleen met her husband Dennis in the Church's youth group. She began serving on the Church governing board when she was a young adult. She has been the church secretary since 1985. Kathleen is a graduate of Brooklyn College with a degree in sociology and education and, in addition to her church job, works as an administrative assistant in the mental health field. She and her husband have two teenage daughters and reside in Marine Park.
